The Monogoto hub provide various of network QoS features for public IoT connectivity and private network connectivity. In order to understand the network connectivity QoS between the IoT device (Thing) and the network, users can run QoS tests (in various time intervals) and receive packet loss, average jitter and round trip times measurements. When it comes to private networks, account that uses the Monogoto Edge can enjoy always on QoS monitoring between edge and devices, for data speed, latency and packet loss.
The QoS over public cellular connectivity can be measured manually by the user in order to monitor the QoS between the Thing and Monogoto cloud. The results each test are displayed on chart and including the packet loss, average jitter and round trip times. Read more...
Single load test
> one time QoS measurement up to 60 seconds (max.) when the user can modify the number of ping requests (5 default, 10, 30, 60) and select the packet size (100B default, 500B, 1000B) before running the test.
15-min test
> continuous QoS test in 30 seconds intervals for a duration of 15 minutes.
24-hr test
> continuous QoS test in 15 minutes intervals for a duration of 24 hours.
Private network QoS feature is available for networks deployed with the Monogoto Edge.
The edge QoS measurements on a private network are being reported automatically to the edge details page. The Monogoto edge report latency and packet loss monitoring between edge and the active Things which are online. Additionally, the Monogoto edge reports the data speed of the internet backhaul. The thing (SIM) QoS measurements on a private network are being reported automatically to the thing details page. The reported QoS measurements for the individual thing are packet loss, latency and round trip times.
