Android Device

In this guide you can find the most important settings for Monogoto SIM card to work properly in your Android device

Please note that there are multiple various and custom Android OS, therefore there may be subtle changes with each Android OS and each device model, but this guide should provide the general information on where you may find these settings.

APN Settings

Monogoto SIM cards require your device to have correct APN settings in order to allow usage of the mobile data. Please note that before configuring APN in your device, we advise you to double check what APNs are available for usage in your Monogoto portal.

To check what APNs are available for your usage, please follow these steps:

3. Check what APNs you have available in the list.

Please note that the APN you want to use in your device must be assigned in Thing Group settings

To check APN settings in your device please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to SIM cards & mobile networks

3. Select mongoto SIM card

4. Open Access point names

5. Check if in the list of APNs you have required APN selected (in this example APN we need to have is data.mono)

6. If you do not have the required APN, please add it (all you need to do is give name and enter APN).

7. For your device to fully apply APN settings, please restart the device.

Data Roaming Settings

Monogoto SIM cards are global roaming SIM card that can be used all around the world, therefore for data to work, you must enable Data Roaming in your device settings.

To enable data Roaming in your device please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to SIM cards & mobile networks

3. Open Data roaming

4. Select to Always allow data roaming

Mobile Data Settings

Monogoto SIM cards are using local network roaming to provide our customers with mobile data for their needs. Therefore in order to get access to Monogoto SIM cards mobile data, you have to make sure you have mobile data enabled in your device settings.

To enable mobile data in your device please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to SIM cards & mobile networks

3. Make sure you have Mobile data enabled (glowing = enabled)

Enabled SIM card

Many devices allow the SIM card to be disabled for usage, so in case if you want to use Monogoto SIM card, please make sure that you have enabled the possibility for the SIM to be used in your Android device.

1. Open Settings

2. Go to SIM cards & mobile networks

3. Select mongoto SIM card

4. Make sure you have Monogoto SIM card enabled (glowing = enabled)

Double SIM card Devices

Some devices have the ability to have multiple SIM cards, so in case you have inserted Monogoto SIM card into device that already has a SIM card, please make sure you have selected Monogoto SIM card to be used for the mobile data.

To select Monogoto SIM card for data in your device, please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to SIM cards & mobile networks

3. Make sure you have Monogoto SIM card selected for mobile data usage

4. We advise you to use APN that has icon(Apply Settings) in column Settings status. In this example the APN we advise you to use is data.mono

Login into Monogoto portal using your user account
