Interface

The following guide describes the Interface column from Edge Events.

Interfaces connect the various components to or within the private network's edge. Interfaces allow the ENB, MME, SPGWC & HSS to cooperate with other network elements

• Radio Trunk -The S1 connection between the radio and the private network's edge.

• Edge Trunk -The S6a connection between the edge and to HSS host.

• GTP -GPRS Tunnelling Protocol (GTP) is a group of IP-based communications protocols used to carry general packet radio service (GPRS) within LTE and 5G NR radio networks.

• CDR- Call Data Records are generated based on the data consumed by the UE.
