Clicking on the Thing name on the Things page will take you to the Thing Details page, which includes all the information related to the Things, including data usage, live statuses, events and special actions such as deep packet capture, QoS tests and more.

Page Title

The page title will display the specific ICCID of the selected Thing. In the same row, there will be a clickable component labeled ‘Things’. Clicking on this component will redirect you to the Things page.

Status Bar

The status bar includes 3 parameters regarding your Thing’s current state:

Status indicator: displays the lifecycle status of the Thing-active/suspended.

Data session indicator: Displays an indication of whether the Thing is currently in a data session-online/offline.

MTK indicator: Shows whether the Monogoto SIM Tool Kit (MTK) is installed. The MTK was designed to optimize network connectivity.

Action Bar

The action bar includes five actions that you can apply to your selected Thing:

SMS: Send an SMS to your Thing. Function is possible only if the SIM’s active.

QoS: A Quality of Service test is a procedure used to evaluate the performance and quality of a network used. Optional only when SIM’s online

Refresh Connection: Refresh Thing connection to end an existing cellular connection and start a new one.

Suspend/Activate SIM: Activate or suspend the Thing. When suspended, the SIM cannot connect to the network.

Data Usage Graphs

The Data Usage Graphs section on the Thing Details page features several graphs that visualize key metrics:

  1. Data Usage: Shows overall data consumption over a specified time frame.

  2. Data Usage by Network: Breaks down data usage across different networks.

  3. QoS Test Results: Displays quality of service test outcomes if a test has been conducted.

Users can select which graph to display via a dropdown menu. Additionally, they can choose between two time frames: This Month or Last 24 Hours, providing flexibility in data analysis.

Active Identity Details

This tab displays information about the current active identity, including the active profile, the applicable roaming policy, and the assigned price plan.

Connectivity Details

This tab displays the connectivity details of the Thing, including the current network in use, the APN (Access Point Name), and the IP address.

MTK Timers

This tab displays the CycleTime value - the duration (in minutes) which triggers the MTK to switch to the secondary identity of the SIM, in case it couldn't connect to any network or no roaming network exist within the primary identity.

In addition, it displays the SwitchBackTime value - the duration (in minutes) which triggers the MTK to switch the SIM to the primary identity, only if it was connected continually for this duration.

Identity Details

This tab displays the identities associated with the selected SIM, including the OPLMN (Operator Public Land Mobile Network) and FPLMN (Forbidden Public Land Mobile Network) for each profile.

Events Section

The Events table provides detailed information about occurrences related to the selected Thing. The table is organized into columns for easy reference and analysis. The columns include:

Time: When the event was recorded.

Message Type: The type of message associated with the event.

Event Type: The category or nature of the event.

Description: A detailed description of the event.

OTA Events Table

The OTA Events table provides detailed information about OTA Campaigns related to the selected Thing. The table is organized into columns for easy reference and analysis. The columns include:

Date: The date when the OTA event took place.

Campaign Name: The name or identifier of the specific OTA campaign.

Result: The outcome of the campaign, such as Job Created/Completed.

Event: A brief description of the event or action taken, such as active or OTA sent.

Things Location

Thing ID

In the left sidebar of the page is displayed useful data regarding your thing, including the Thing’s ICCID, the SIM type, a description of the thing, the tech and network in use, the group the SIM belongs to, the active identity in use and information about the device the thing is in - the IMEI and the brand and model of the device.

Capture: Lets you capture all outgoing and incoming IP traffic from your chosen Thing, and will generate a PCAP file for a specific Thing, including all data traffic routed via Monogoto over the past 60 minutes. Capture is available only , and if the SIM’s active.

The "Things Location" section includes a map beneath the company name, featuring a pin that marks the last known location of the item. Clicking the pin opens a new tab with a detailed map view, allowing users to zoom in for a closer look at the location. This setup enhances usability by providing easy access to specific location details. To activate an accurate location service contact
