# Backhaul

A backhaul of a private network is required in order to connect it to the Monogoto cloud, usually via VPN connection.

The **Backhaul** page provides a view of the connected backhaul to the account. A private network backhaul can be connected to the private network's edge (when available) or radio (eNodeB) when no edge exists.
