In this guide you can find the most important settings for Monogoto SIM card to work properly in your iPhone

Please note that iOS user interface usually changes in subtle ways with every release, so the exact location of these settings may be a bit different depending on your iPhone iOS version, but this guide should provide the general information on where you may find these settings.

APN Settings

Monogoto SIM cards require your phone to have correct APN settings in order to allow usage of the mobile data. Please note that before configuring APN in your device, we advise you to double check what APNs are available for usage in your Monogoto portal.

To check what APNs are available for your usage, please follow these steps:

1. Login into Monogoto portal using your user account

2. Go to Network section

3. Check what APNs you have available in the list.

Please note that the APN you want to use in your device must be assigned in Thing Group settings

To check APN settings in your mobile device please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to Cellular

3. Open Cellular Data Network

4. Make sure you have correct APN (in this example APN is data.mono)

5. For your device to fully apply APN settings, please restart the device.

Please note that based on your used language in your phone, the location of APN settings may change.

  • If your phone’s language setting is English (US/Canada), then go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network.

  • If your phone’s language setting is English (UK), then go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network.

Data Roaming Settings

Monogoto SIM cards are global roaming SIM card that can be used all around the world, therefore for data to work, you must enable Data Roaming in your mobile phone settings.

To enable data Roaming in your mobile device please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to Cellular

3. Press on Cellular Data Options

4. Make sure you have Data Roaming enabled (green = enabled)

Mobile Data Settings

Monogoto SIM cards are using local network roaming to provide our customers with mobile data for their needs. Therefore in order to get access to Monogoto SIM cards mobile data, you have to make sure you have cellular data enabled in your mobile phone settings.

To enable mobile data in your mobile device please follow these instructions:

1. Open Settings

2. Go to Cellular

3. Make sure you have Cellular Data enabled (green = enabled)
